2. Description of Service

API Documentation Generator is a web-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to analyze Java source code files and generate API documentation. The Service supports multiple Java REST frameworks and provides documentation in various formats.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google Authentication. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

• Generate documentation for your own Java REST API projects
• Upload Java source code files for processing
• Download and use the generated documentation
• Share generated documentation with your team or clients

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purposes
• Upload files you don't have rights to
• Abuse the Service to avoid paying for credits
• Attempt to overwhelm or disrupt the Service
• Scrape or automatically extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

5. Credits and Payments

5.1 Free Credits

Users receive a daily allocation of free credits to use the Service. Free credits reset daily and do not accumulate.

5.2 Additional Credits

Users may purchase additional credits through our payment system. All payments are processed securely, and credits are non-refundable once purchased.

5.3 Credit Usage

Credits are consumed based on the number and size of files processed. Complex files or multiple file uploads may consume more credits.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the Java source code you upload. However, you grant us a limited license to process your code solely for the purpose of generating documentation.

6.2 Generated Documentation

You own the documentation generated from your code. You may use, modify, and distribute it freely for any purpose, including commercial projects.

6.3 Our Service

The Service, including its software, design, functionality, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data protection seriously:

• Uploaded source code is processed in memory and immediately discarded
• We do not permanently store your source code
• Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy
• We comply with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA)

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Authentication, and Anthropic AI. Your use of these services through our platform is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy or completeness of generated documentation
• Compatibility with all Java frameworks or coding styles
• Availability of the Service at all times

9.2 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate documentation descriptions. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying generated documentation
• We do not guarantee that AI descriptions perfectly represent your code's functionality
• You should test and validate the generated documentation before production use

11. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring uploaded code is your own or you have permission to use it
• Reviewing generated documentation for accuracy
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintaining appropriate backups of your source code
• Not uploading sensitive credentials, passwords, or API keys in your code

12. Advertising

The Service displays advertisements through Google AdSense. By using the Service, you agree that we may display ads alongside content. We do not control the content of these advertisements.

13. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change pricing and credit costs
• Update features and functionality
• Impose usage limits or restrictions

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or service notification.

15. Termination
